Uplink is the name of the Indiana Department of Workforce Development\u2019s automated self-service Unemployment Insurance system.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The Uplink Claimant Self-Service System enables users to receive improved customer service and reduces the time needed for processing unemployment insurance claims. 1<\/a><\/sup><\/p>\n\n\n\n

  • The IP address 198.12.125.130 belongs to AS36352 (ColoCrossing)<\/li>\n\n\n\n
  • The phishing website has links that redirect to the official website of the Indiana State Government (in.gov\/dwd)<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n

    • However, the \u2018forget Username?\u2019 and \u2018forget Password?\u2019 links are non-existent.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n

      The phishing website accepts incorrect login credentials and redirects to a Two-factor authentication page<\/p>\n\n\n\n

        The two-factor authentication page accepts incorrect access codes and redirects users to the phishing page<\/p>\n\n\n\n

        • The webpage falsely indicates to the user that an access code will be sent<\/li>\n\n\n\n
        • When the user enters any (incorrect) access code, the webpage redirects the user back to the main phishing webpage<\/li>\n\n\n\n
        • The \u2018GetCode\u2019 and \u2018GoBack\u2019 buttons reload to the same page again<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n
